Learning.
The assignments focused on learning comprise meditations on learning theories and their application to teaching and learning, philosophy statements that attempt to articulate my evolved approach to teaching and learning, and metacognitive assignments that launched me into an evaluation of my learning process. Of note, the microleanring assignment was designed in such a way to emphasize metacognition while conducting personalized learning. It is one of the more memorable assignments. Several learning theories contributed to my evolved perception of learning, as evidenced in such assignments as the pedagogy reflections and theory dreamboard, but I do have to acknowledge the role of Third Space theory in having a profound impact on how I view learning spaces. The pedagogy of play and the study of makerspaces also widened my perspective of learning spaces. In this section, you will find a summary of issues covered in all the program courses, which can offer both a broad overview of the program as well as a detailed look into the issues and concepts that stood out to me.
