Technology.
This section comprises a range of projects that contributed to my growth in leveraging technology to enhance learning. The TPACK and SAMR frameworks for technology integration were a reoccurring theme throughout the program courses, and the SAMR model has influenced more readily my daily work with digital learning environments. On the other hand, I’ve found value in using the TPACK model when I need to step back and evaluate larger structures of learning. The evaluation of technology for creating, communicating, and collaborating introduced me to new and effective features of learning technologies, and the technology learning map assignment allowed me to play the role of the user and think critically about functionality and the emotional experience digital designs for learning can evoke. This experience perhaps culminated in my work on the digital stories website I created as an “action project” as well as the digital makerspace I created for humanities-based research. These two projects represent the digital products that I created during the program that I plan to use in my virtual classrooms and share with my colleagues.
